Not only did this 2005 Panoz Esperante GTLMe win first place in the GTLM class at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2006, but it has also raced at Le Mans twice and is said to be the longest-running GT2 car in ALMS history, from 2004-'09.

Powered by its original Ford 5.0-liter Modular engine built by Elan Power, the Panoz also comes with a “large spares package.”

I always had a real liking for these cars. To me the question is with this car do you drive it like any other race car or is it a car that should now be preserved. I think I would use it but with care as I think it's provenance makes it a car of history that should be preserved.
