Sleek Delage Roadster named Best of Show at Audrain Newport Concours

Out of the over 180 cars that lined up on the concours show field at the 2023 Audrain Newport Concours & Motor Week, a 1938 Delage D8-120 De Villars Roadster was named Best of Show.

Owner Fritz Burkard drove the car some 300 miles from Vermont to the lawn of The Breakers Mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.

Other highlights from the concours include a 1973 Buick Gran Sport Stage 1 Colonnade Sun Coupe winning the People’s Choice award, a 1952 Mercedes-Benz W194 300 SL securing the Simeone Trophy for Historic Presence and a 1903 Grout Model J receiving the Hagerty Youth Judges award.
