TWR Supercat: A reimagined Jaguar XJS

The recently revealed TWR Supercat uses the Jaguar XJS as its foundation. The new TWR created a version that features contemporary design that remains in the spirit of the original, with a supercharged V12 putting our nearly 600 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission.

The Supercat is the first offering from the modern TWR, founded by Fergus Walkinshaw, son of the original TWR owner Tom Walkinshaw, and John Kane.

Khyzyl Saleem served as the Design Lead for the Supercat. He had previously worked with Ken Block and Travis Pastrana on projects. Magnus Walker, a car enthusiast who created the Serious clothing line, outfitting folks from Alice Cooper to Madonna, consulted on the project.

The interior will be revealed when the car makes its debut summer 2024.

TWR is now open for orders, which is limited to 88 units, paying homage to TWR’s Le Mans win with Jaguar in 1988. The TWR Supercat starts at £225,000 (approximately $240,000 USD), with first deliveries taking place late this year. For more information, visit twrperformance.co.uk.
