Starting with a normal Giulietta Sprint Veloce, Alfa Romeo replaced a number of panels—like the hood, trunk lid, door skins and bumpers—with aluminum pieces, removing some 150 pounds from the total weight to create the Alleggerita (Lightweight) version.
This particular 1956 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce Lightweight is noted as being a well-sorted example powered by a 1300cc engine recently built by specialist Conrad Stevenson.
