I'll take two.
This 1953 Bentley R-Type Continental Fastback boasts spectacular lines and an even better backstory. This example was ordered by Ian Fleming, author of the James Bond books, for his lifelong friend, Ivar Bryce. It was discovered earlier this year in a Hollywood garage after lying forgotten for over 30 years.
This car, BC10LB, was originally finished in Deep Grey and specified as a left-hand drive, manual gearbox car with fender spats and lightweight seats. It was one of only handful created with these features.
The Bentley R-Type Continental was one of the fastest and most expensive cars of its time. Our friends at Gullwing Motor Cars are offering this incredibly significant example for $1,495,000.
