Cleaning up our Corvette’s grille area while the grille is removed

Photography by Tim Suddard

While we were working on our 1965 Corvette’s grille area and had the hood off, we decided to clean things up a bit.

First, we cleaned overspray off the horn wires and the headlight loom.

Then we cleaned the bugs off the radiator.

To clean the radiator support, we used a brass brush and some Prep-All.

Then we were able to mask off the front part of the inner fenders and spray the area with Eastwood Chassis Black paint.

All an all, this was a simple job, made even easier because the grille and hood weren’t in the way.
