A couple of years back, I found that two rear suspension bushings on my Miata had failed, allowing some metal-on-metal contact.
And a Miata isn’t even that old....

How intact are the bushings holding your suspension together? In the case of our 1967 Shelby GT350, we found disintegration of some of our chassis bushings.
We quickly replaced the end link bushings on our front anti-roll bar bushings with new Energy Suspension pieces sourced from Summit Racing.
Our rear spring bushings also looked a bit chewed up and needed replacement. Again, Summit Racing had new ones in stock, allowing us to replace our decade-old rubber pieces with stiffer Energy Suspension units.
We didn’t need a press for the job and could easily swap out the bushings with the car on the lift.
