Porsche Parts and Stuff

The Porsche hasn't been neglected lately. We recently took it to an open house/tech session at Aero Dynamics, a Porsche shop near Daytona Beach, Florida.

Soon we'll install these: fresh Bilstein Sports.

Porsche 911s are known for rusting around the battery tray, so we figured we'd do some preventative maintenance.

And right now we're in the middle of replacing our aftermarket head unit with something that looks more period-correct.

Things with our Porsche have been quiet lately, but that doesn’t mean the car has been sitting. It just hasn’t needed much service.

However, we have been rounding up parts for some future work. Our new Bilsteins are here, and it’s about time for a valve adjustment and some other regular maintenance. We have also started gathering some of the various rubber seals. We’re taking the car to this year’s Porsche Parade—the PCA’s annual gathering—and figured the car should look a bit fresher.

Everything is a target for canoes. Comments about canoes look silly after the canoes are deleted though.
