(There is no category for trailer makes, so I put it under vintage race cars, where a trailer would be found!) I bought this Aluma car hauler in Oregon to bring my MG back to Alaska. I needed a trailer light enough to tow behind my 3300 pound Jeep Cherokee. This trailer fits the bill. It is all aluminum, including the wheels, weighs only 1000 pounds empty, but will gross 7000 pounds. The deck is 6 1/2 feet wide and 14 feet long. A steel trailer this size was 1500 to 2000 pounds. It has electric brakes on both axles, slide-out ramps under the deck, tie-downs in each corner, retractable stabilizing legs on the back corners for loading, and stake pockets along the sides. It also has removable fenders so you can open your car door for loading and unloading. The Jeep handled the trailer well under all conditions including wind, snow, and ice.
