Celebrating: 1923, with more TBA
Not all concours events cater to the prewar and high-end crowd. Concours d'Lemons, inexplicably presented by Classic Motorsports as well as Griot’s Garage and Hagerty, returns for 2023. It’s the place to find good examples of terrible cars and terrible examples of good cars–or, rather, cars that were once good.
Look for Lemons to join Monterey Car Week (August 19), Detroit (date TBA) and Cobble Beach (September 16).
Radwood, a celebration of the cars and fashion that defined the ’80s and ’90s, also returns this year. An event in the Southeast is penciled in for April 1, and more are again expected.
