Although many are thrilled that Road America and the NTT IndyCar Series have announced a multi-year partnership extension, few are likely to be as excited as Mike Kertscher, President and General Manager of Road America:
“This collaboration not only ignites the fervor of our passionate racing fans,” exclaims Kertscher, “but also plays a crucial role in boosting our local economy and nurturing the motorsport culture that thrives here.”
Jay Frye, IndyCar President, adds to that sentiment by pointing out that not only is Road America “a magnificent facility and great partner,” but with its "rich history, iconic layout, and packed grandstands and campgrounds,” the track continues to be a favorite for both drivers and teams.
More specifically, the partnership extension ensures that IndyCar will remain a marquee event at Road America “for many years to come,” and will see both the track and the racing series working together to make the race experience even better for attendees by improving fan zones, adding more interactive displays and even expanding access to drivers and teams.
