Interesting project !
The price might be justified for a Pristine restoration of a one of like this , but for a rough odd ball that at first glance is going to need a through going over ... maybe somewhere below the 20k range.
A quick search find a lot of examples in the 20 - 50k range ( hopefully ) in concourse conditions at the top end.
but then again I'm Cheap :)
Some of the details may be a little sketchy, but at least it is a little V8-60, and well located in the chassis. When I was a youngster we had a flat head TD come in to our shop for something, what I don't remember. It had a big flat head, and the radiator was pushed forward to the front of the splash apron. My father chased it off pretty quickly, it was really grim.

It does seem like a lot of money, but I've always found these flathead TDs appealing. The flathead Ford V8 was sort of the Rover V8 of its day, powering everything from sports cars to land speed record cars.
