Whether talking Pontiacs or Porsches, wider is often better.
And when it comes to wide Porsches, three letters often come up: RWB.
RWB, short for RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF, is the brainchild of Akira Nakai, a product of Japan’s drift culture: outrageous flares, outrageous attitude, outrageous graphics.
RWB’s kit for the 993-chassis Porsche 911 includes those flares plus bumpers, rockers and wings. Those parts alone cost $30,000 in American dollars. The company can then supply the giant wheels and tires, while more personalization can also be added.
TPE Ltd., a Japanese exotic car dealer, offers this 1995 Porsche 993 RWB. In addition to the Rothmans colors and the RWB body panels, it features center-lock wheels, Yokohama tires and Bride seats. The roll bar is yellow.
Asking price is 42,000,000 yen, so about $290,975.
