Porsche built just 34 examples of the 718 RSK. Of those, only six were built with a center-seat configuration. Don’t dig that? No worries. This is one of four constructed with the ability to switch from center steering to offset steering in just a few hours.
Belgian driver Christian Goethals bought the car new. With Goethals behind the wheel, it won the 1959 Leopoldville Grand Prix in the Belgian Congo.
The 718 RSK retains much of its original bodywork, as well as its original Type 547/3 engine and transaxle.
Find this 1959 Porsche 718 RSK Center Seat up for auction at Mecum, with an estimated winning bid of $3,500,000-$4,000,000.
