Until that time machine works, this Ford is likely the closest you can get to buying a new–or like new–1968 Thunderbird.
Billed as largely original–down to the Lime Gold paint, interior, 429 V8 engine and even the 32,600 miles on the odometer–the Thunderbird had been retained by the same family since new.
As far as the rest of the car goes, the seller notes “Everything works as it did new,” including the air conditioning and headlights.
Find this 1968 Ford Thunderbird up for auction at Carlisle Auctions. As a point of reference, Hagerty currently values a ’68 Thunderbird (with Landau top) in No. 2 condition at $21,800.
