Spectators at the 1986 Domino’s Pizza 500 at Pocono Raceway were seeing red as the checkered flag waved–more specifically, this red Lola T86 driven by Mario Andretti as it crossed the finish line in first place.
Powering the T86 is a 2.65-liter, turbocharged Cosworth DFX V8, with gear changes handled by a Hewland five-speed transmission.
Noted to be eligible for Vintage Indy and SVRA racing, the Lola was also piloted by Andretti to a third-place finish at the 1986 Molson Indy Toronto.
