This special edition Olds was “nut-and-bolt restored” in 2010 and “awarded Highest Honors as an accomplished 998 Point out of 1000 Winner.”
Oldsmobile only produced 130 of these Indy 500 pace cars. This example has original, matching numbers componentry, including the 455-cubic-inch engine and rear end. It has the period-correct bellhousing, but it’s a replacement for what the Olds came with.
In the past 12 years, the seller says it only has 20 miles on the vehicle. During that time, the owner never dropped the top in order to prevent wrinkles.
