One-of-one Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing returns to our forum

This Gullwing stands as one of one. How so? It’s the only known example to be produced in Mittelgrun over a green with gray interior. It spent 2015 to 2020 as a part of the Motor Speedway Museum in their Basement Collection.

In the late 2000s, this Gullwing underwent a complete body-off restoration by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum and received its final service work by Scott Grundfor Co. in 2022.

This Gullwing retains its original matching-numbers engine–rebuilt by Pacific Fuel Injection in 2008–and sports new rubber suspension components, body color steel wheels with body color and chrome hubcaps and a powder-coated frame by Indy Powder Coating.
