Not just an old Audi turned into a rally car, but a former factory-backed Audi 80 quattro–one of only four believed to have been built by Audi Sport.
Shortly after rolling off the assembly line, the car went on to compete in the 1983 British Open Rally Championship, followed by competition in the 1984 and 1985 WRC Safari Rally.
After the Audi was acquired by the current seller in 2014 and restored to its current condition, it went on to participate in the 2017 and 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Find this 1983 Audi 80 quattro rally car for sale through RM Sotheby’s for 150,000 pounds, or approximately $181,769.
