An ultra-rare prototype race car with virtually guaranteed entry into exclusive events like the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and more? Try this Audi R18 TDI Ultra LMP1.

Currently under private ownership and billed as “fully operational” (in case its 2024 appearance at Goodwood wasn’t enough evidence), this R18, chassis number 107, is the last of eight examples produced.

The Audi made its competition debut at the 6 Hours of Imola during the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup following the loss of two chassis at the previous 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Notable drivers who piloted the R18 include Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish, Rinaldo Capello, Benoît Tréluyer, Marcel Fässler and André Lotterer–the last of whom was awarded the car after the R18 TDI was retired with the introduction the R18 e-tron quattro in 2012.
