Some cars are desirable for their rarity, others for their race history, and some even for their attractive styling. This Ferrari 500 TRC, however, is desirable for all three of those reasons.

Widely considered one of the most beautiful sports car designs of all time,” according to the seller, this Ferrari is the first 500 TRC produced–and remains one of just 16 known survivors.

Between 1957 and 1963, the 500 TRC won 10 class victories and 13 podium finishes. More recently, the Ferrari has competed in the Mille Miglia Storica more than 20 times.

According to the accompanying Ferrari Classiche Red Book, the 500 TRC is confirmed to retain several original components, including the engine, chassis and body.

And perhaps not surprisingly, the Ferrari is eligible for several highly exclusive events, such as the Le Mans Classic, Goodwood Revival and the previously mentioned Mille Miglia Storica.

Find this 1957 Ferrari 500 TRC for auction from RM Sotheby’s with an estimated value of $7,000,000-$9,000,000.
