After years of denial, I have finally come to terms with the fact that this is one project that is never going to get off the ground:

So, I offer to the Grassroots community my 1977 Triumph Spitfire with GT6 engine, overdrive transmission and bonnet. The body is solid. Unfortunately, the engine is now stuck (leading to my decision to sell). I have no idea if the overdrive works. It is what it is. If it doesn't sell here, I'll carry on with Craigslist etc.

The car is located about 13 miles north of Waterbury, CT. Entertaining offers in the $500 range.

I'm not sure when the denial started, exactly. I was perfectly capable of making a nice car of it at the time I bought it. It just kept getting pushed back for other projects. But yeah, it was probably around the time the GRM Rospit started hitting the track that I should've realized it wasn't happening.
