NMNA looks a little rough. But I've seen worse really.

That actually looks like a great starting point for an engine swap to me... I prefer the body lines of these early models to the later ones.

That looks a lot like mine when I bought it in 1989 for $400. Seems to about the same condition too.

So lucky this isn't in VA. There a later model blue spitfire around the corner from me that's been sitting untouched for at least 4 years. Guy said he wouldn't sell it though.

Did yours have a random rust hole in the middle of the door?

I thought that was a bullet hole. But no mine didn't have a rust hole in the door. It had enough rust elsewhere.
