Got a cheap set of 15x8 ebay wheels off of craigslist, they had plastidip on them but a few cans of brake cleaner took care of that, they have some scratches but from 10 feet away they look great. I also got a super cheap set of slightly used Hoosiers from a spec miata race team. Ill post up photos when I get home from work. I autocrossed the car yesterday, it was a very fast course on my fastest run I hit 80mph in 3rd gear. I actually broke the shift linkage at the transmission shifting from 3rd to 2nd on my last run, had to drive home from fort Myers to Miami with only 3rd and 4th gear. here is the video of my first run since the battery died on the gopro, I kept it in 2nd gear for my first run. https://www.youtube.com/embed/-KsIrWb3B8o
I just want to say thank you again to everyone that voted for my car, my brother and myself during the challenge, it really meant a lot to us.
This past weekend was the florida state Autocross championship, took home the gold it was awesome!
here is a video of my fastest run, Im getting better as a driver but there is still lots for me to learn. https://www.youtube.com/embed/LOiPGtwR4V4
this is a video clip of a spin I had during practice, the car does this sometimes where it does a 180 so fast there is no time for me to "catch" it. most likey its me doing something dumb but if anybody sees something in this video that would help me let me know. https://www.youtube.com/embed/9s9leTh9K18

The spin: looks like the car was already sliding to the left before it snapped to the right, but you may not have felt it at the time. That's something that just takes time to get the feel for.
Also, when a FWD car starts to oversteer, don't do a sudden lift or stab of the brakes. That will almost guarantee a spin. Keep the throttle steady and try to steer out of it.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I like these types of builds more than I would a Mustang GT or other performance-based car.
How did you get the ECU to work with the ITB's? I assume you switched from MAF to MAP and had to trick the ECU along the way?
