" Those. Kind. Of. People. Unfortunately on the 21st she's becoming my buddy's MIL. " And you my man don't have to worry about that nonsense no more.....good on you!!! What is the catch phrase when talking to a finish carpenter that let's you know that that the dude ain't got it goin' on? I'm looking at interior rework and I don't need drama.
If they have to stop and think when you ask if it's a project they can or want to do, they're probably not up for it.
siding is coming today. Have to cut the grass because a friend and her family are coming to play Saturday before her kids go back to school. Once school starts the 45 minute distance is hard to overcome on their end since her wife is a teacher too which is most definitely not a job that ends at the end of the school day
Excellent work well done may man!!!!
Loft Steps made from $89 in #1 framing lumber with a danish oil finish, have $18 total in them because of menards rebate credits.

Very admirable stuff. Especially using the old noggin to draw your line.
Moving stuff around the house
Went to best buy for a freezer

It seems like a renovation is currently ongoing. I like how you used your sedan to tow it.
Cuz ya can....and not everyone has Q45 tow pig
Luxury truck! The Q45 does more work than the typical suburban dad's full size, 4 door V6 pickup truck!

Going to a computer and CD shop for a freezer, and picking it up with a luxury sedan towing a landscaping trailer.
Someone, somewhere, is having an aneurysm.
I worked with someone who didn't understand how anybody who worked on cars didn't own a pickup despite my explaining that I could do my job riding a berking moped. And then I am kinda boggling that Best Buy sells houseware appliances.
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
For a long time, most appliances were bought at clothing stores (Sears and Montgomery Wards.). Now, they are mostly bought at hardware stores (Lowes, Depot) or the electronics store. The big names in appliances are Samsung and LG. Where else can you buy their other products?
I don't know if you guys are ready for things. Just remember this is the before

Bring the noise Patrick! I know you've been busting your hump on the house for a LONG time.

Hot damn!
I like the stone front and the teal accent door.
The fine, luxury automobile out front really adds to the class of the whole place!

That looks fantastic Patrick! You've got to be proud of your work! Bravo!!!
Looks amazing! The railings on the porch totally change the look and "size" of the house.
Having seen most of this in person, I can safely say that your craftsmanship is of a level I can't even use in my "best case scenario" for my project planning purposes. Hope you were able to patch up that step I berked up.

I have porch envy
The left side of the porch really does beg for a white, hanging porch swing!
