So I finally got around to working on the Galaxie. (See here for some details from years ago). Clem Sparks and Psteav helped me out with our friend Brian on getting a plan together on the brakes.

New brake booster order to mount up the Crown Vic master cylinder.

I added 4 wheels disks which spiraled into a full suspension rebuild that then lost all traction when I moved 5 years ago.

Here it is from when it was on the road many years ago.

More work. Ended up getting a "direct fit" brake kit that came with a master cylinder (I am using a crown Vic unit instead), booster, and appropriate bracket. The input rod on the back of the booster is way too long and runs into the firewall quite badly. If I trim the rod down, it still is 1/2" into the firewall. Contacted Summit and hopefully will hear something tomorrow.

Got it to turn over after doing an oil change. No spark plugs in just yet but it spun freely after sitting with wd40 in the cylinders for a week.
