Still no luck... oh well, let's wait and see if I eventually get that function working.

voorhen; have you mated the LS engine to the transmission yet? Or is it still in the mock-up stage? I'm really curious about how you go along with this! Do you happen to know how much torque can that transmission handle? I've never seen this done before! I know some of the GT-40 guys use the 01e VW transmission or the upside-down Porsche G35, and those transmissions are very good at taking a beating!

Is your transmission a FWD unit or is it an AWD converted to FWD, as the previous owner of your car did?

WOW! I was clearing out some bookmarks & decided to take a look at this thread & low & behold I see so much progress has been made of my old "Fubaru" project. I'm quite impressed & happy I didn't take the easy way out & just part the car out. I could have made a LOT more money parting it out, but as a car guy, I'm so happy to see it was saved & will see the road again. BTW, I've been working on getting my super clean '85 Porsche 928S back on the road. It's in the shop awaiting the freshly overhauled 5.0 928S engine installation.

Hey guys, its been forever... Ive made some more progress. lost a lot of photos but i do have some good ones. I changed everything up a bit, because i want this car to be everything i want it to be. Also, Ive been working on building the body for the 1935 winning Miller Indy car here at school. I'm responsible for the tail section of the car. Ok, let's see if I get this mouthful right. Twin-turbo ITB LSx swapped Dino 308 GT4 on BAGS?!?!?! Will you be my best friend?

Also- there's a sick part of me that wants to see the outside of this thing still looking ratty as berkeley, so when you lay down the loud pedal and it goes straight to plaid, the WTF faces are legendary.

What kind of HP numbers are you shooting for? I wouldn't think that with turbos like you're going to be very conservative! Have you upgraded the LSx internals?

The engine bay turned out way beyond awesome and the exhaust looks fantastic. Amazing work.

I just picture this car, still looking ratty, making EPIC turbo noises, pulling into a car park, laying rocker, and then THAT engine bay... zomg. That would instantly win pretty much every car show. EVER. Even concours at Pebble Beach. SRS.
