Interesting day, while working on my spider exhaust,I had these 2 'experts' walk up to me and start telling me how to do the job I was working on, they both told me they were mgb experts, so I decided to mess with these 2 Arab experts, so I started quizzing them on my "MGB 🤣🤣🤣' after a while I told them it was a alfa romeo, not a MGB, but they kept insisting that they were MGB experts and my car was a British car, so I found my DMV paperwork and opened the driver's door to show them it was a alfa Romeo, made in Italy,.. then they started to double talk and make up excuses. I told them to piss off, all these experts, wow
At least they didn't try to explain to you how Alfa Romeo stole the MGB blueprints because that was OBVIOUSLY an MGB, engine and all
Spacers between the disk and the face of the hub,2mm, will not affect the parking brake . The button Allen screws were rubbing on the brake backing plate
Kinda rat rod, looking now, but it will have new paint next spring. But the brakes are finished, I have new front rotors at home. These are just the old ones, for test fitting
take 3 on the collector below the header.mot much room to work with, engine, body shell, steering system, so this time much slower on the cuts, and trim to, fit slow, and a lot of tape
Piguin,I hope you are right, still must cut out the flange, but lots of blue tape and sharpies, and very careful cuts, and sanding disk, good enough for tack welds. Very close fits in the merge

Flange is drilled for exhaust tubes and bolts after setting the tubes in at the angle and dept I need,to clear the engine and body shell,o woll mark and spot weld,if it works out good, i will bolt this to an aluminum block to weld, the aluminum block will work as a heat sink to keep the flange from warping
spot welded and sanded down, clean. for final welds.. the soapstone marks are for me, so i can see the weld area, when i am welding.
