it doesn't look much different for all days work. But, couple of little things to do, and should move under it's own power!

looks good in the sun! Need to adjust shifter cables and finish bleeding the cooling system, but it may move under it's own power for the first time since 2014 today!
So, knocking sound under braking thats speed dependent from left front corner by sound. Doesn't seem to match wheel rpm in a 1:1 ratio.
Ideas? Nothing obvious upon cursory visual inspection
all lug nuts tight?
also, does the noise change if you are engine braking vs have the clutch in? It could be CV joints.

you posted that as I was typing. Something about great minds...
Ill check lug nuts.
Do noise dragging it down in gear with engine braking. Just on the brake pedal. And you don't really feel it either, just hear it.

First start video? You went from might start to i broke it-ish.
Did it fire right up or did it need tinkering, inquiring minds want to know!
First start video on previous page. From friday.
I had to prime the fuel system, retighten the battery terminals, and it fired right up. No muss, no fuss, no trouble. Kinda anticlimactic.
Spent Saturday doing the engine bay stuff to make it drivable. Realized at the end of the day when i went to test clutch that i had no reverse.
Adjusted shift cables this morning. Verified all six gears.
Munchkin and i drove it to gas station over lunch. She made another video, waiting for it to upload to YouTube and I'll link
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael (Forum Supporter) :
Silicone brake fluid in all my projects. I spend way too much time on paint to have a fluid leak wash the paint off.
And like everyone else here...I clicked to see the "moving car" video!

Lug nuts torqued properly. However the strut to strut mount nuts weren't. Drivers side was loose, passenger side only finger tight. Another test soon.

Believe me, I know. We're at attempt number five. YouTube hates this one. Or my wifi. Or....
I skip wifi and upload from the phone via the cell network or mine take forever. Of course our internet sux, maybe yours is better.
It just now finished uploading!!!
Started at noon....
Hopefully someone will embed it. And munchkin is having a ball doing video. Shes 11....
It's pretty easy to embed. Click the calendar looking thing with the + in the bottom right. Paste your link. Enjoy.
Attn Mary,
please turn phone sideways before recording and don't turn it while making videos
attn Michael,
car needs a turbo
Thanks stampie!
Went around the block this morning. No noise braking in gear with clutch out. Clutch in, above 10mph on brakes, noise. Harder on brakes, more noise and louder.
Time to take things apart i do believe.
I think look at your cv axles. When 'loaded' - either by engine pushing wheels or wheels pushing engine they will mostly just see force in one rotational direction. When unloaded, they could clack back and forth.
