Do you have any idea how this is gonna preform??? asphalt supermodified looking out the driver's window (at full lock) when going to the post office???....perhaps Love it!!!

I like the post office idea! I will be using the instrument cluster from the bike and it will mount very easily to the dash. Glad you like the build!

Today, I finished up the shifter handle

<img src="20170411_163146_resized" />

And made up some bracing and brackets to install all of the Miata e-brake parts.

Exhaust and the brakes are finished. The car will look mostly stock when done but the 3" exhaust might give it away.

All of the wiring is Yamaha. I will add a small separate harness for the twin headlights (with an on/off switch) and the wipers

I have an electric reverse on my V8 Daihatsu HiJet. It is direct drive (clutch only). The reverse uses an extra flexplate and starter from a late model Taurus. Plentiful and cheap. <img src="20151021_150557" /> <img src="20151028_164514_resized" /> <img src="20151031_143441_resized" />

If I can find a small diameter flexplate, I will go this route on the micro car, if not, I will use a belt driven starter/generator from a gas golf cart

I am going to use the original R1 motorcycle gas tank and mount it in the truck of the Autobianchi. I made the rear mount today along with more roll cage to body connections...complete with lightening holes.

<img src="20170509_160942_resized" /> <img src="20170509_161002_resized" />

Also used some exhaust tubing to start fabricating the floor. The tubing surround the rear section of the upper control arm. It is slotted to allow movement. The caps are for access to the control arm nut.

<img src="20170509_161116_resized" />

These are just plumbing caps which I have machined down to fit.
