I like seeing this on the front page and love the wheels
I only just found this thread. A friend built a Festiva back in 2011 for Lemons racing and did the same engine swap. I later re-freshen the engine for him. He later picked up a late model 1.8L Miata cylinder head. Due to the relocated intake ports I had to weld extra aluminum plate to the bottom of the intake to allow it to bolt up to the head. The head has better intake ports and a bit more cam timing. He also later built his own ECU to run the engine. He moved to NJ but later emailed me that the car put down 145 HP at the wheels! Not bad!

Nice Build Thanks for sharing,
What material did you use to build your front air dam?
Also is it easily removable?

For the air dam i used 1/8 HDPE plastic. Its rivet on with aluminum tri fold to the bumper its all one piece
Wheels are on. Redid my intake now its a true cold air intake also added a front reinforcing to the core support. Header will need some tweaking to make it work for now am using the previous header i had. Just want to get it going for next month track event.
Past weekend we had the our memorial event at Blackhawk. Festiva did real good. Me not so much. I do need alot of seat time to get comfortable. But I was a able to knock 2 seconds off my lap times.
In reply to TurboFource :
Those pics my buddy took at the track.
Got a chance to swap one of the coilovers spring. 1 down 3 to go.
Rear setup. Left side is the previous right side new setup. Different bumpstop and top spring isolator
Had a chance to attend a autocross event at a local oval track. A bit different that actually racing a track but got to take home a 1st place. Didn't get any pics of the festiva in action since I went my myself.
