If that's your superpower, lighting a buffer on fire is a berkleying win!!!
so can you sum up the suspension setup? what would be your preferred 5/7 setup if starting from scratch?

My setup now:
Front: 2 inch drop spindle, 2 inch springs, 2 inch control arms, 1 inch coil lift spacer to bring it back up to 5 stock 2wd bilstein shocks, zq8 steering box
Rear: flip kit, leaves removed, load bags, shock extenders and bilstein shocks.
If i had to do it over, id go with spindles and springs, skip control arms. Rear i wouldn't remove leafs, but do a drop shackle instead for the extra inch. Its good the way it is, but im limited to 17+ wheels due to scrub line and the rear feels too soft.
Nope. 15s with a little lca trimming. Which is appealing right up until i realize theres not a lot of good tire options in 235/75/15 anymore
18 inch Camaro steel wheels. 1.25 spacer adapters front, 1.75 rear.
255/55/18 Michelin run flats for the last 15k.

No problem! The tires are huge compared to what most static drop guys run. It actually makes the truck look not as lowered as it is. And the wheelwell looks STUFFED. love it
Let me know if you need to know anything else! More than happy to help
I wish I had had the patience to make my GMT400 even remotely as good as this one. I feel pretty good about moving on to an 800 though.

Nah. You rescued it. I just finished what you and the parking lot build team started.

Other than my daughter, im not sure anymore. Its such a good truck.
Obd1 was red devil stuff.
The woks part number was $.25
Also, my daughter is adamant that this truck is hers. I think its time to start hunting for a CLEAN extended cab 2wd fleetside to 5.3 swap. Seems like i love this generation of chevy, and they do all the truck stuff i need. Except this ones a bit cramped.
Umm...
E36 M3. I think I bought a cheap extended cab via art the bodyman by accident.
Said it sounded like a screaming deal, and id be interested in it if it passes the eyeberkeleying. He told the guy i was buying it.
We go to look tomorrow. Worst case scenario i flip it for profit or make art a liar.
I still have parts including a new bagged 88-93 gmc grille that I've been saving if I ever get another, but probably won't. Still want a 3500hd to make a ramp truck but they're getting hard to find and I scrapped the one i had that was long enough to build it
That Art is a character man, I still can't figure out if you like the guy or want to punch him half the time
