Being a Spitfire he'd have to almost give it away. They aren't worth much restored. Probably the worst British sportscar, even including the TR7
Yeah but they look kinda cool. As a project that's a way better starting point than some basket case that's been sitting in a driveway for years.
Would be a fun project. Bought an abandoned project spit 2 years ago, it was a stay in the garage 'cause of COVID thing. And to do penance for 40 years of hating british cars. Found they are primitive vehicles and parts were dirt cheap. Once it was done I hated driving it. Other than that I would buy this one for 500 and spend the winter in the garage again.
It is far from a $1250 car. That is just a starting point.
I'm going to disagree with Docwemple. Not the worst Triumph ever and prices have been going up lately. That is mainly for the round tail models.
