If I were to bring this home (I'm not) I could throw all my extra bits at it......Recaro seats, Rota RB wheels, Momo steering wheel, and a couple of Hella 2000s on the bumper ! Rally look winter beater.
FYI....these old Corollas have the same steering column spline as an NA/NB Miata.
Serving Suggestion-
As you can see, a little bit of drop, decent wheels, and a bumper tuck or JDM/Non US Spec bumpers would do wonders for its curb appeal. I would add some tint to the glasshouse, and look into modifying a rear spoiler from a Ford Flex or Kia Sedona to give a bit of excitement to the roofline without overdoing it.
If one were so inclined, TRD livery always spices up a otherwise staid white Toyota.
Nah....this is the corolla wagon you WANT! Apparently, it needs a starter that can't be swapped without removing the transfer case.
