Agree 100% on the lack of whole car photos. It makes me assume that it looks bad. 

Not as subtle a build as I thought it would be, but that's perfectly okay in my book.

And yeah, I'm not sure how many times we have to scream into the void about how to take pictures of cars you want to sell.

Why is the turbocharger stuck in the front bumper? 

Do people not run air filters? 

He really did himself a disservice by doing such a radical build on a salvage title car with body damage. Also by giving up at this stage in the build; selling a non-drivable project is a huge pain compared to a ready to go modified car. I think his price is not bad for what you get, but it's going to be a tough sell.

Agreed on the turbo location and lack of air filter. Ugh.

All of that. That's a weird spot to stop the build and try to sell. If it really just needs a tune, spend the relatively small fee to have a pro get it done and sell the build as a running, riding screamer of a salvage titled wagon. At least then people probably will be a little more able to look past the body damage.

Totally agreed. Unfortunately it looks like the seller suffers from GRMitis, a condition most of us share, as he said "only selling to to start on another project."

Personally I'd have made that a sleeper. He has plenty of real estate for turbo and piping, moving the front bumper forward and having the exhaust stick out the side. 
Again, his build, his choice.

I reed it as "I know it needs thousands of dollars in parts and labor, but if I lie, and say  'tune up' it might fool someone"

At least that's what it means 99.9% of the time in an ad.

without a bit of history on the car/workmanship/seller, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole!
