I recently came across some old travel slides, not from my family.  I was first thinking this was a 300sl in the foreground, but now don't think so.  But what is it?

More likely a 190SL but sure looks like a Benz.

Not a 190 SL, which had a pronounced straight rear fender top ending in a vertical taillight.

It also looks somewhat like the back of a Hudson.
