Some issues back (maybe a couple years now) there was one of those sections that had various experts' take on a particular car and its foibles-- what to look for when buying and maintaining one.

In this case, on Spridgets, one expert mentioned a common problem with racers-- a miss at higher rpms. I can't remember the solution. I thought I took a picture of that page to save it (that's how I file stuff I want to keep before I throw out the magazine so Mrs. Exposition doesn't complain about stacks of paper lying around). I can't find it now. Does somebody remember and have this magazine/page around?

I don't have this problem at the moment, but I often have compatriots that do.

In reply to Basil Exposition:

Not quite sure what you mean by a miss at higher rpms? Must either be fuel delivery or ignition?

Years ago I had a fatted out 1275 Midget on the street that was 9/10 race car. But of course my race car then was a Spitfire.

I don't really remember what the solution was, but it was something you wouldn't normally think of, like a harmonic or something.
