Not sure what this is either, but i LIKE IT.
That thar is a Nissan Cefiro!
I hate to be that guy, especially since i didn't know what it was earlier....
But it's not.
U12 Bluebird, called the "Stanza" over here i've been informed. That particular one is likely AWD and SR20DET powered.
Cefiro was based on Skyline, right?

Just what I wanted to see, something I have never heard of!
94-96 Stealth TT's have always been my favorite.
(waits for comment on how much of a heavy pig they are...)

Twin Turbos!!!!!!!!one!!!!!
(To the OP, I don't think the Isuzu Impulse had anything to do with DSM, more GM. I could be wrong...)
Last, my personal favorite......

And a case of a great chassis let down by an utterly trash motor.

Typing fingers got way ahead of the brain. I had a '99 Protege LX, so I automatically think '90's on that body style, even though it was mostly '00s, like the MSP
Yea I know it has nothing to do with a DSM mechanically. I was refering to the fact that it is AWD and turbocharged but smaller and lighter than a DSM. It shares the same concept as the DSM only.
However, the Lotus Elan from above shares its motor with the Impulse.

I don't even know what this is...
EP82 Toyota Starlet GT. Front drive, 1.3 turbo, nice little car. I was this close to buying a front cut and disc rear axle to swap into my long lost '98 Tercel... My wife was happy when I spent the coin on our wedding instead.
They've got great hatch bums, as well.

current project (need new pics, looks a bit different by now):

even with just a few mods I am pushing 2 hp per cubic inch with insane traction; and all the cool kids know that 1ga is the way to go with a DSM
Last years toy:

I never thought that I could love a big 4 door until spending some quality with this Q ship. Italian design, Swedish engineering, room for 5, amazing economy, torque to spare and totally overlooked by the general population...
another hotlink, for your pleasure

It's a toyota starlet Gt, (ep82 chassis) and 4e-fte motor.
Also, pinchvalve, I owned that exact trim'd
Car..All oem too.. 1Ga is the ONLY way to go dsm

My personal favorite Turbo of the 90s.
Never sold it here, but all of the parts are easily sourced to build your own if you have a 968 and a spare 944 turbo engine laying around.
one day, I just might build one...

1991 Firefly Turbo, need I say more?

I remember seeing this car at an auto show in whatever year they came out. What did they run for- 2 years? Porsche seemed to regard them as a placeholder, as the booth was tucked in the corner of the Anaheim Convention Center. I Loved them then, and Love the now. HUGE NA 4 banger if I recall. And I agree- that is the Porsche Turbo I would build. Thanks for the off topic post!!
