tooling about and getting people to ask you about your car: 914

anything performance/track related: 944S2.

Chris Mitchum (of Mitchum Motorsports, who run Rolex Porsches) told me 6 or 7 years ago that he really wanted a 944 S2 as a track toy......if that tells you anything. And that guy has driven alot of high-performance steel.

Having driven both and owned several various iterations of the 944. I would go with the 944S2. It is not a one car is better than the other recommendation it is I liked how the 944's feel better than the 914. Both are great fun cars. If you like the 914 by all means go for it!!! I did not read the whole thread but my recommendation is to drive both and pick.
