Wow man. Looks clean. That's a great score.
For reasons I can't quite explain, I've always liked those. Early ones could be had with an LSD as well, iirc.
Nice car. Sort of a gussied up version of the SE-R. You sure don't see many of them anymore.
Look out for rocker rust through behind the moldings.
I have driven in a couple se-r's with the sr20ve swap. It is a easy swap into these as well. The engine is like the normal sr20 on steroids!
A guy I work with had one until last week when someone ran a light totaling the car.
I'll find out if he's buying it back for partout or not...
Nice buy! Those are great cars.
Oil filter positions are always annoying on the SR20s but I can't think of much else I don't like about them.
Seconding the suggestion to pull the mouldings off, clean out anything trapped between and check for rust.
leather even looks decent
Nice! I had a '93. How's the 5th gear? Mine eventually pop out and later on would no longer stay in 5th so I drove it with only 4 gears.
Thanks for the advice to pull the side skirts. I test drove it specifically to check for 5th gear popout and it does not have it. Only revving 2700ish for 55mph on the highway is pretty nice, in interested to see how mileage is.
No need to pull the sideskirts the rust issue is in front of the front doors and behind the front wheels. You can flush it from above with the hood open, there is a little gap. Put a big rear sway bar on it and it'll make you smile every time out drive it.
The T should have the LSD.
You got that sweet ride for a grand? berkeley you and I mean that in the nicest way possible

I have a set of adjustable struts and springs for a p10. Not sure if they will fit a p11. If they do I can make you a deal.
