my wife has an employee whos daughter works for AB.. she told us that the company that bought em has gotten rid of the clydesdales.. and no more hospitality stuff at the parks anymore.. i believe its I bev?.. that sux, the horses are an american tradition..
InBev.
I don't think they are getting rid of all the clydesdales, just consolidating. They have them at their themeparks and at all of their breweries. So they will likely reduce them to just the parks.
It retains the tradition, but makes reasonable cut backs. You shouldn't need a stable master at every brewery in this day and age.
Any truth to the rumor that InBev is launching a new line of glues?
racinginc215 beat mt to it. I was wondering how they were going to continue to produce Budweiser without the horses to fill the bottles.
..as they used to say in the commercials of another popular beer, 'it's the water and a lot more'.
This one has always been my favorite.

I looked online to see if there are any news stories about this and didn't find anything. I did find an article from December about them opening a new breeding farm for the Clydesdales, which would indicate they aren't going to be getting rid of them anytime soon.

Bud Select isn't TOO bad.

Doesn't take a beer snob to realize that Budweiser is pretty much the lowest rung on the beer ladder
Ok, Natty or Iron City or Milwaukee's Best. But Bud's close.
I'm waiting to see if InBev cuts the parks as well. I hope not, I grew up going to Bush Gardens. OTOH, I go for canadian stuff
Budweiser American Ale is pretty tasty....for a bud.
I would take a Bud light over a Nasty Light any day.
Life's too short to drink E36 M3ty beer.
Look closely at the ingredients in your Budweiser, there's RICE in Bud..
It's not really beer.

Eh... I like Bud products over Miller. I think the only exception to that for me is that Miller with lime is better than the bud with lime, but i don't like either.
Micheloeb FTW.
Although I'm usually stuck with Keystone at school

Bud American Ale=Decent for AB product. It's a go out if nothing else beer.
Michelob=Amber Bock is okay. Porter is very tasty. Lager..ehh i'd drink it on a hot summer day nothing more.
Miller Lite=Pee pee in bottle
Pabst=Solid cheap beer. Better in can that bottle.

Kinda watered down, but no bad aftertaste. I like it.

Slightly OT...anyone else completely astounded by the difference between Stag in a can and Stag in a bottle? I'm a beer gourmand; I drink it all. I like the good stuff, tolerate the cheap stuff, but was amazed at the fact that bottled Stag is..well...actually decent. It's not in any danger of knocking Schlitz off of my personal cheap-beer pedestal, but it ain't half bad.
Ranier Beef, FTW!

Schlitz old formula or the newer formula? I've heard the newer formula Schlitz isn't half bad..
Ya'll ever drink Pearl? They are (thankfully) out of business today. Now, the stuff in a bottle was better than the stuff in a can, which was pretty nasty. However, in a keg, it wasn't bad. By neighbors, Mo and Denis the Menace, always had a keg of Pearl in a kegerator. Longest it ever lasted was about a week.
I like hardcore microbrews AND Budweiser too. Never understood beer snobery..
I like a lot of microbrews. Bud and bud light have their place.
There is a large difference between fresh Budweiser and not quite as fresh. It is worth looking at the born on date. I've had the pleasure of being at a party hosted by the prez of Bud, and of course they had fresh(1 day old) bottled beer. It was a good deal different than what you find lying around coolers.
Bud light is my favorite beer to have while playing softball, however I have a local microbrew(switchback, which is out of burlington vt) in my kegarator at home.
