Dem Gauges

RX7 is getting all-new gauges and I'm looking at these (oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, fuel pressure) with the matching tach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKQ00Q3wJdM

I'll be adding a dual EGT gauge to the package as well.

Any experience with these? Something you would suggest over them?

No experience, but those gauges are pretty cool especially the 3 step oil pressure gauge.

BTW, there's a company called Depo Racing that makes less expensive stepper motor gauges that might be more up a GRM'ers budget:

On the one hand, those gauges are pretty cool, particularly the three step oil pressure warning. On the other hand, after bad experiences I do NOT trust electric gauges. At all.

I've never seen gauges that awesome before. The price is gonna crush my dreams though, right?

Pretty cool, though price doesn't seem hugely far off of just running a Racepak IQ3.

Man if they had a cylinder head temp gauge, I would definitely be interested.

Looks like a nice update of the Autometer Elite. http://www.egauges.com/Elite-s/21192.htm I've been running a set of the these for years and think they're great. Might be worth a price comparison if you're still shopping.
