After digging through my collection of Classic Motorsports magazines, I found this article called The King of Classic Specials. It has one in the article that is called a 1950 Leo Lyons Mercury Custom. Geoff Hacker may be interested in that car

The headlamp openings look Lincoln or Packard to me, but that's as far as I'm willing to go.
