Saw this on a FB page I follow.. and couldn't come up with the application. Any ideas?

assume it's a gauge bezel, but I suppose it could be a backup/tag lamp bezel.

Is the center license plate sized with the top indent being license plate light holder.

The two side sections could be reverse lights

It's a spyrator assembly off of an old catastrophic converter.  You can tell because the newer ones had a canooter valve attachment on the other side.  Unfortunately it's difficult to find a buyer for these now-a-days because it needed round-nut sockets for installation.

I'd recommend you find a little prop wash to clean it up and maybe mount it somewhere in the garage with some fallopian tube or a mercury rod.

I think you're right, and it looks familiar to me, but I can't quite place it. The wider side is the top.
