I've been looking for one of these for a long time.

I see them occasionally but out of my price range. This one already has the 440 installed. However, the rust holes scare the crap out of me. Asking price of $800 is barely above scrap value. Can I use it as an excuse on how to fix rust holes/sheet metal or should I forget it out of hand?
Yep that's stupid and I fully support it.
The rust doesn't look that bad and should be repairable with some spare sheet metal from old appliances and a cheap welder.
Pretty sure between scrap value of a car that big, and the value of a good running 440/Torqueflite (bonus points if its non smog truck engine) combo, you could more than make your money back.

Yep, it's one of those mistakes I'd make with a smile on my face.
Not to be terribly obvious or anything, but the only truly stupid thing to be done here would be to read the ad and NOT buy that car!
Horrible idea. Check the subframes before driving it home.
And welcome to the mopar world.
Give him the 800 and see just how bad this is.
Thank god its in Chicago and your marriage.
It even comes with a suicide knob. Excellent. Just don't put anything in the trunk that you still want to have when you get where you're going.
that would be my summer cruiser, since i only work 7 miles from home now- a couple of cans of expanding foam to seal the cabin and i bet the AC would keep it ice cold..
