What do you get when you put a high-revving motorcycle engine in a tiny, lightweight chassis? Kartcross, apparently.
Popular in Nordic nations, this motorsport has a few different classes, with the top one featuring karts with 600cc engines like the ones in this video.

They're apparently a handful.
Monticello has quite a few of these... reach out to Chris D. up there as I'm confident that he'd be up for getting JG or anyone else on staff into one for a video and article.

They are absolutely a handful. Between the power to weight ratio and the amount of steering angle that you can give them it's incredibly easy to overdrive them. But when you get it right there is really nothing that is remotely close to their capabilities.
Sierra Cars sells several versions of krosscarts in the U.S., from hill climb to rally. The few I've seen go up Pike's Peak were definitely very fast and entertaining.
SECOND HAND KARTCROSS FOR SALE That tubing looks pretty small in the cockpit and $16.5k :/
How is this like the Sprint Car racing? This just looks like a crazy class of cars doing stage rally.
This is Spring Car racing.

"Starting at.." numbers are between $32k and $70k.
....yeah, no.
I typically watch YouTube videos somewhere between 1.5x-2x speed. It took me a minute to realize that I was watching that at 1x speed and they're actually that fast and sound like that.
