Anybody abuse a 1.8 block with 2.0 crank with no issues? Like, lots of time at 7k rpm.
The 1.8 block has less material around the saddles, because the 1.8 crank is way lighter.
It's probably way over engineered to begin with, but, there's a significant amount of additional force if that 2.0 crank is spinning at 7k, and I'd hate to break something again.
Thoughts, experience, technical literature references?
