Charred wires IN the tank sketches me out, though I've heard the likelihood of this making the car explode are pretty much 0%. Is this something to be concerned about, or can I just go ahead and replace the wires and move on?
NA8 Miata, new OEM Fuel pump running stock power. I cleaned up the contacts, cut off the burned section of plastic on the plug (so that it wouldn't break off in the tank) and put it back together. Works just fine for now but does anyone know where I can get *just* this wire harness? Striking out on EBay.
