Ok, wtf. Pet peeve here. 85-89 aw10/1. Gen one. 90-99 sw20. Gen two. '00 forward is zz30. Gen 3. And that's it folks. No such thing as a gen 4. (Though rumors have surfaced)

Gen 4 was in reference to the 4th gen 3SGTE motor that is the current hot swap for SW20.

Gen 1: ST165/ST185 motor.

Gen 2: USDM SW20 turbo motor.

Gen 3: 95-99 JDM SW20 motor.

Gen 4: Caldina ST215 motor.

Gen 5: Caldina ST246 motor.

Love the swap. Should be a great car to have fun in.

I would really like a V6 swapped SW20.

So, can we get some driving impressions? Looks nice enough to be the type i'd never convince myself to swing for.

I was impressed with the car. It felt very solid and rattle free. The engine has a lot of torque and was quieter at idle then I was anticipating. Under acceleration it sounds glorious. The intake is behind the driver and it sounds great.

I haven't had a chance to drive it other then the initial test drive. My wife had me busy all weekend around the house. I will drive it some on Tuesday and Wednesday.
