Its only a matter of time before someone makes a "same year, 35 cars later" post

That would be Stampie.

A little bit different 45 year story.  I WISH this car was still in the family!

The car under it's current owner, who appears to be the CEO of Duetsche Bank, so it's probably in good hands.

That was Harlow Curtice's house where I grew up.  He was former GM president who flew from flint to Detroit in a helicopter and was Time magazine man of the year 2x I believe.  Pilot Braden on here grew up next  door in the Dort house.  There is a lot of auto history here in the Flint area of Mi.

I bow to the Miata owners who purchased them mid-winter!

Actually, 45 years later

Came across this old pic of my mom sitting on Dad's then-new 1970 Triumph GT6

And this one of me leaning against the exact same car roughly 45 years later...

So, let's see your "then and now" pics of cars from long ago ---> recently.

Am I the only one who thinks you should have worn a kilt for your photo to maintain continuity?

TINY image from a 2006 autocross.  (I got the car in 2002, I would have to go looking at non-digital to get the older pics)

and my driveway last year.

Now that my youngest can ride in a forward facing carseat, I need to get it off the lift and drive it.  Its basically been in storage on the lift for the last year and a half, rear facing carseats dont fit and whenever I have been going somewhere local sans-kids I have been taking the bugeye. lately.

Funny truth, I am finally going to replace the steering rack that had a slow leak that existed in the 2006 picture.

Here's a 2018 picture for good measure.
